Wood Craft is a small, privately-owned business located in
Narbethong, Victoria. Director, John Lally originated from
Elizabeth in Adelaide and on completing his Pattern Making
apprenticeship, came to Melbourne to work for the then named
John R Williams Patterns in Mont Albert to further learn his trade.

In 1990, John took over ownership of John Wiliams Patterns and
moved the business to larger premises in Nunawading. With a
larger number of employees, work was still done by hand.
In 1998, John researched the benefits and advantages of CNC
machining and purchased his first CNC. The business focus
took a shift from hand work to the faster and more efficient CNC
produced cutting. With fewer employees needed on deck, the
business again relocated a further two times to small industrial
premises in Ferntee Gully where John commenced work as a
sole operator and changed the name of the business to Wood
Craft Pty. Ltd. in keeping with his lifelong passion for wood.

Proudly, in 2008, Wood Craft finally made the last of its moves
and relocated to the small rural town of Narbethong, Victoria,
operating from John's home premises, a lifelong dream that
was finally fulfilled. The business there now thrives, with John
solely running his own pattern making shop, with plans for a
wood working gallery to be opened on the premises soon.

With a wealth of experience, Wood Craft is able to offer
competitive pricing, individual attention and sound technical
advice to its customers.
