With so many modern materials being used, why is Wood
Craft named as such, when wood is not the predominantly
used material?

"Well son....when I were a young lad....!"
Pattern Making in its original form involved the use of wood
as the main material. Models were painstakingly hand
crafted and modelled from wood, using a variety of hand
tools, coupled with a high degree of skill and craftsmanship,
well before the advent of modern materials, computer
technology and CNC's.
Hence the name 'Wood Craft', since the company's origins
were forged from an industry that relied purely on its base
material of wood.
